WHO WE ARE
Our committment is to the customer. This includes the dealer/distributors we sell to,
together with the consultant community and end users we serve. All Daly & DeRoma staff are ready to provide responsive,
thorough consultation and direction in solving your equipment and supply needs. If we can't provide a direct answer
we will see that you find the necessary source.
We are headquartered in Minneapolis, but offer service throughout the Upper Midwest. We believe in
hard work and friendly, honest relationships with everyone we serve. We actively support all industry trade organizations.
SHOWROOM AND TRAINING FACILITY
Our showroom offers hands-on demonstrations of all the great products we represent. We use it for
cooking demonstrations and sales meetings for our distributors and their customers. We offer a first hand
look at how to use a Zesto conveyor oven or the look and feel of our Steelite china and glassware lines.
There is no substitute for actually seeing the products we represent in demonstrations. We built this
facility for you. Our showroom and conference center is available for product demonstrations, meetings
and training sessions. Please give us a call or contact us via e-mail. If you'd like directions to our office,

THE TEAM
|
Jim is President of Daly & DeRoma and brings over
27 years of experience in this industry and actually used to be with the firm back
in the mid 80's! Jim is the company's true "cooking equipment guru" having represented Vulcan Hart for over 18 years.
His family, including his father Herb, has been in the foodservice field for as long as Jim can remember.
Being an avid cross-country skier, Jim has learned to pursue his goals with great focus. Jim has been certified
by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) as a Certified Food Service Professional
(CFSP). Currently he is only one of three Manufacturers Reps in this region that has his Certified Professional Manufacturers
Representative designation (CPMR).

As Vice President of Daly & DeRoma, Mike offers both leadership for the group
and over 28 years of experience in the food service industry. Mike understands the ins and outs of supplies and cooking
equipment. He also knows what it takes to establish and keep a highly qualified sales and service organization. "You don't
build your sales without good follow up and excellent service".
Mike also takes great pride in having created a real working showroom and test kitchen. "Our enduser and
distributor clients can actually see & test most of our products before they purchase".
Mike has been certified by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM)
as a Certified Food Service Professional (CFSP). Currently, he is only one of three Manufacturers Reps in
this region that has his Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative designation CPMR. (Guess
who the other ones are!)

Yes, Dianne is Jim's wife and she
keeps the ship on course, as they say. Dianne is busy checking all orders for accuracy, providing
quotations, following up on special orders and assisting all of the sales people to keep them
out on the street in front of customers. Dianne's past skills as an information specialist for
Wilder Research Center in St Paul and raising two sons, help keep all of us focused and on task.
She had been working with Jim for around 3 years, but as stated earlier, most all DeRoma's are in
this foodservice business, so she has absorbed a great deal over the years.

Dan is Dianne and Jims oldest son. He graduated in May '08 from U/W Green Bay but vows he is still
an avid Vikings fan. Dan has interned with our firm during the past two summers and has proven to
be a quick study. Of course Dan has learned plenty from just listening to the two of his parents
talk about business over their typical family dinner time. He is now a full time member of the
team. It’s nice to have some young new talent entering into our business to supply us all with
a fresh perspective.

Jim Stratman
Jim Stratman is the founder of our firm, formed in 1978. Jim is retired and living with his wife,
Ann, in Tucson, Arizona. And yes he looks as young ever.

Laurance Anderson
Laurance Anderson’s foodservice career began when he took an internship position working in the design department
of a foodservice equipment dealer while in college.
He's been in the foodservice equipment industry ever since...(there is no escape!)
Laurance has broad industry segment experience but his heart, and his passion, are firmly planted in his role
as a manufacturer's rep where he excels at building relationships and connecting people to equipment that meets
their specific needs.
Laurance brings great creativity to the firm. He has an eye for design and flair - yet he understands that
attention to detail is paramount to success in our business. Perhaps Laurance's greatest assets are his fondness
for people and his desire to help customers.
Laurance is CFSP certified, he received the 2010 Minnesota School Nutrition Association's "Industry Partner Of
The Year" award, and is a Toastmasters speaker champion. His hobbies include playing guitar and spending time with
his family.
